24' Pontoon Boat @ H2O Sanctuary

Private Pontoon boat for Guests staying at H2O Sanctuary Only! Book for 8 Hours, and use it throughout the duration of your stay. Enjoy Sunset / Sunrise Cruises with the family and explore the largest lake in the community.



Once you process the booking, we will send you the lockbox code for the boat keys. Please book at least 4 hours in advance of desired use to allow sufficient response time.



Starting

1. Unplug the boat – remove power cord from boat and leave at dock – not in the water. DO NOT TURN ON POWER BEFORE THE CORD IS UNPLUGGED!

2. Turn the key to the right and look at the small screen on the Minn Kota black lever. The bars on the right show the remaining battery level. Make sure it is FULL before departing! The remaining run time will vary based on how much throttle you use, but with a full battery you should get an hour or two of enjoyment – plenty of time to explore the entire lake.

3. Un-tie or unstrap the boat from the dock and push off into the water (before dropping the motor). There is a shelf at the edge of the lake and you need to make sure you clear it before dropping the motor

4. Hold the Tilt button down to drop the motor. You will hear it dropping. Let off the button when you hear it finish. The tilt gauge is not currently working, so look at the motor at the back if you need to.

5. Press the lever to go forward / backward

6. Fish Finder: Flip the ACC ON (right side) button up, and press the power button on the LOWRANCE screen (small circle with vertical line at the bottom right hand corner). Press Enter to activate and it will start

7. Radio / CD Player: Flip the ACC On (right side) button up. The radio should turn on.



Upon Returning:

1. Approach dock very slowly and from a wide angle. Always have a second person prepared to step out and “catch” the dock. Any damages done will be charged accordingly. Tie / Strap the boat to the dock

2. Upon landing, Tilt the motor all the way up AND turn the steering wheel all the way to the left – this is very important, so the motor is as much out of the water as possible, and to prevent motor deterioration

3. Turn off ACC buttons

4. Remove Key, and keep it in the LOCKBOX with the code scrambled to prevent unauthorized usage, and in case you do not use it again. You have the code to use it for the duration of your stay.

5. Plug It In for batteries to stay charged for next use.

6. Re-Install Seat Covers Securely if applicable



Notes:

This is an older pontoon boat

- Lights do not work – no use in the evenings

- Horn does not work

- Tilt Gauge does not work

- The OUTLET only pushes power to the boat from dusk to dawn. If the 2 lamps by the steps are on, then the power should be going to the boat. If you need to charge it during the day, you can manually activate the lights and power via 2 switches labeled LAKE LIGHTS: 1 inside the house by the couch, the other on bedroom side of the patio.



All Watercraft Usage is AT YOUR OWN RISK. There are some life-jackets in the Bench Seat near the Hot Tub. If you use them, please PUT THEM BACK. There are no guarantees of suitability or performance for any of the watercrafts or life jackets.

o 4.1 Fishing - Fishing is catch and release only. Unattended lines are prohibited. Fishing is limited to one line per person and no more than two (2) hooks per line. Gig, spears, explosives, firearms, air rifles, seine nets, traps and bows and arrows are prohibited. Fishing is permitted from the sides of lakes, docks, or from registered watercraft.

Entering into the lake or standing on the perimeter shelf of any lake is prohibited.

o 4.2 Fishing Permits - A Dobson Association fishing permit must be obtained and displayed outside of clothing while fishing. The annual fee is set by the Board. Children six (6) and under do not need a license but must be accompanied by an adult while fishing. Fishing permits can be obtained from the recreation desk.

Section 5 Swimming in the Lakes - Swimming in Dobson Ranch Lakes is strictly prohibited.

• Section 6.2 Alcohol Usage in Common Areas - Use of alcohol in common areas must comply with Arizona State Law governing alcohol use without a license. No glass, kegs, or barrels are permitted.

• Section 6.7 Feeding of Wildlife - Feeding of wildlife (fish, fowl, feral cats, turtles) is not permitted in common areas/lakes.
