Fishing on Chesapeake Bay with Capt. Jason on The Marylander!
We specialize in Charter Fishing for Striped Bass, Crabbing Charters, Sunset Cruises, Waterfowl Hunting, and good times for friends & families on the Chesapeake Bay!
The Boat: The Marylander is a 48 foot Chesapeake and was commissioned in the spring of 1999. It is a Chesapeake Bay deadrise that is 14 feet 8 inches wide. The Marylander is approved by USCG to carry up to 30 passengers and 2 crew in the Chesapeake Bay and its surrounding waters. It is powered by a 600hp Cummins Marine Diesel engine. It is equipped with air conditioning and heat for your comfort. It has numerous rod holders, a spacious dinette and cabin, two bunks, and a restroom. The Marylander cruises comfortably at 18-20 knots and is well maintained before, during, and after your voyage.
Fishing Trips:
Trip Cost: May 1st- Dec. 10th: Base price of $1000 per trip for 6 passengers. Any additional angler is $160 per person with a maximum of 18 total passengers on board. Plus gratuity for your Mate.
Gratuity for the Mate is appreciated, as he works hard for you before and after your trip. Customary gratuity is 20-25% of the trip cost. Our Mate looks forward to seeing you again on your next voyage!
Summer Trip: May 1 to July 15; July 16 to July 31st; August 1- October 31st
Morning: 5:45 am-11:45 am
Afternoon: 1:00 pm- 7:00 pm
NOTE: From July 16th- July 31st we target Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish primarily. Striped Bass Season is CLOSED during this time period in Maryland.
November 1- December 10th Trip Times
Morning or Afternoon: Only one trip runs per day during this month: 6am-12pm or 11am-5pm.
What's Included:
We will supply all applicable fishing licenses, tackle, rods & reels, and bait for our anglers. We will also filet your catch and bag it before you head home!
