This 24’ Cobalt 240 is in fabulous condition and kept very clean. It’s super easy to drive. You get help at the dock launching and landing. It has a sun cover (Bimini Canvas Top) and zip in front windows. It even has heating! It goes out in the rain and still a nice cozy ride! It has a portable toilet closet which is the reason I bought this boat! Take this out on Lake Washington and have some safe fun if you are an experienced operator! Pickup is ONLY in South Lake Union. Once booked more details will be communicated for meeting. There is a table that can be placed in the rear. It’s got a sound system with Bluetooth connection. There is an inflator for your self-provided inflatables. There are also cell phone charging cables. There is a depth finder on board. I have various children’s life jackets. The boat has life jackets for everyone aboard. All safety equipment will be pointed out in person.

✅ Self-captained rentals need to have an experienced operator. Please share your previous captaining and boat handling experience PRIOR to Instant Booking which also ensures communication prior to booking to double check the boat and owner is available to get you on the water. Sometimes owner is on the water doing another rental on another boat during the exact time you want your rental, so timing logistics have to work out to ensure you get on and off the water with existing schedules. Please ask any questions before Instant Booking by scrolling down the listing to my face picture under “Boat Owner” then click “Message Owner”. If determined you have limited experience, you may be asked to not venture out on Lake Washington because of the wave dynamics and extra dangers from boating there vs Lake Union-Ship Canal-Portage Bay-Union Bay. I have had renters almost sink this boat by a large wake crashing over the bow and not knowing how to approach waves.



✅ I require a 2-hour minimum. Higher pricing on holiday weekends, Seafair, Sailgating Husky football games etc. Seafair requires minimum hours for rentals and manual pricing. Message owner directly and do not Instant Book if wanting Seafair weekend.



✅ The capacity is 11 people regardless of age or a maximum of 1450 pounds.



✅ The boat may not go through the Ballard Locks and into the Puget Sound.



✅ Owner required boating speed limits on Lake Washington will be required depending on number of passengers, weight and experience. Make sure to send an inquiry before Instant Booking to inquire about this if it is a concern.



✅ Gas is paid at the end of the rental via cash or electronic money transfer apps at a flat rate per hour. Currently $56/hour. Owner fills the gas on owners time to allow renters more time on the water vs other rental boats making you spend a big chunk of your time at the gas dock and by owner refueling it decreases your damage risk with docking. If payment for fuel or extra time is not sent same day as rental an additional charge of 20% of owed balance will be added.



✅ Watersports such as towables, waterskiing or wakeboarding may be allowed depending on experience and comfort of owner. My sole goal is safety and not having any incidents. Renter would have to supply all gear unless doing the add-on tube.



✅ Important Boat Rules: To limit extra damage risks, I don’t allow the boat to be tied up to other boats. Please ask for permission if you intend to 1) anchor [Manual throw over anchor] (can only Anchor in Union Bay, Cozy Cove and Andrew’s Bay) or 2) are interested in docking anywhere (for very experienced operators). Absolutely no smoking/vaping. No red wine or foods that can stain. No pets unless paying for the add-a-pet add-on. No shoes (take off at boarding). Boat must be as perfectly clean as provided or a minimum $100 cleaning fee would apply, $200 minimum fee for bodily fluids. Trash must be taken with you. Provide your own drinks, food, snacks, cooler (unless doing add-on cooler), and ice, towels etc. If doing add-on cooler, supply your own ice. There is a late fee $200 to $1000 so please return exactly on time. If other rentals get canceled because of lateness, the fee can vary drastically.
