Just a quick 40-minute drive northwest of Atlanta, Lake Allatoona is the perfect day-trip destination. Known for excellent fishing—especially spotted bass, hybrid stripers, and crappie—it also offers boating, watersports, and scenic marinas like Park Marina and Holiday Marina. Explore family-friendly beaches, hike or camp at Red Top Mountain State Park, or enjoy a picnic by the water. Lake Allatoona is an easy escape for outdoor fun right outside Atlanta. Summertime pontoon life in the South means relaxing cruises, sun-soaked afternoons, and anchoring in secluded coves for swimming and grilling. It's all about slowing down, enjoying good company, and savoring long, warm days on the lake.
The only time you will need more than 1 tank of gas is if you want to cover the whole lake. I can give you more info if needed, just message.
It is possible for you to pick it up the boat for rentals, if you wish to do so I will coordinate, I am in Marietta near Sprayberry High School
Also have a big 4 person tube 96 inches for $30.
I do have a tow rope and skis on board .
Floor is good, it runs well . I replaced the gas guage in 2024, too.
