My attitude for guiding is basically an educational one. I will share the knowledge I've acquired in the many years I've spent on Lake Mille Lacs to do my best at putting you on fish. Keep in mind, however, that success is never guaranteed. Rest assured, I will put that knowledge to the test each and every time in the boat. You will see below the options you have in spending all or part of a day on the water.
Whether you want to go solo or bring one or two others with you, we'll have fun trying to catch fish. If you want walleyes, trophy northern pike, or the elusive muskie Predator Guide Service has years of experience and many satisfied customers.

Equipment:
When it comes to equipment, you will use top-notch equipment and a first-class boat, motor, and trailer. All equipment, rods, reels, lures, etc., are supplied. Clients should bring rain gear, food, and beverages. The boat is a 2014 Crestliner Fish Hawk with a 150 Mercury Opti Max motor with a Motor Guide trolling motor.

I am Steve Scepaniak, the owner and operator. I have been guiding for over 30 years specializing in Muskie fishing. I also guide Trophy Pike, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and Panfish. I am the first muskie guide on Mille Lacs Lake in Minnesota.
To date, we have taken 2000 Muskies over 45 inches and over 1400 pike over 40 inches. 2018's biggest Muskie was over 45 pounds.
I have guided clients from every state in the union and as far away as Russia, Poland, Romania, France, Germany, China, Japan, Bulgaria, Italy, Pakistan, and many other countries.
I am also a seminar speaker on muskie fishing for over 28 years.

- Free cancellations until 30 days before the booking start time.
- 50% refund for cancellations between 15-30 days before the booking start time.
- Cancellations within 14 days of the booking start time are non-refundable.
Commercial owner
This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
