Key West and the Florida Keys are well known as the fishing capital of the world and hold more world records than anywhere else. We have been charter fishing the waters off of the lower Florida Keys since 1965 and have been the winner of many fishing tournaments. Fishing is a family tradition for the Baumgarten family. Hans Baumgarten started Cowboy Charters in 1965 and his son and grandson have carried on and expanded the family tradition.
You will experience both friendly and professional crew on the well-appointed 45 ft Hatteras yachts,when you join Mark Baumgarten and crew for a day of sport fishing either offshore, reef, wreck or inshore. Mark has been fishing professionally for over 45 years and has been consistently able to find that trophy fish for his customers.
Cowboy CowGirl Sportfishing Charters goal is to ensure that our clients both adults and children have an enjoyable, exciting, and fun filled experience each time we leave our dock to go offshore fishing. We ensure this by providing professional crew members who have over 70 combined years of charter fishing experience. We are honest, knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining and respectful to the needs of our clients. Whether its a family, bachelor party, corporate gathering, or guys trip, we customize the trip based on their needs. We understand some may want very energetic, fast pace atmosphere, while others just want a more relaxed and enjoyable time on the boat. We have no problem answering any questions during a charter and love explaining the different types and methods of fishing we use. You can rest assure that no one will try harder to provide a successful day of fishing and we are always willing to go the few extra miles and use multiple methods or means necessary to ensure a productive catch.

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
