Potomac Fun in the Sun! Occoquan to DC in a 18' Bayliner 185 Bowrider

The meeting point for this boat will be at the Public Dock at Pohick Bay National Park. There is around an $8 per car fee to park there all day. The park is open from dawn to dusk every day.



Take this Baby cruising in DC, Old Town Alexandria, Ft Washington or South to Occoquan Bay! We'll meet you at Pohick Bay National Park's public boat dock but if you know of another public dock that isn't too far from there, we might be able to meet you there (such as Marshall Hall or Fort Washington, both on the Maryland side. The boat will already be in the water, gassed up & Ready to Go!



This beautiful, well-kept 2012 Bayliner 185 BowRider with a Bimini top, is such a comfortable ride and is in ‘like-new’ condition. It's powerful 4.3 TKS, 220 hp MerCruiser TKS Inboard/OutBoard Engine is more than enough power for you and your friends or family. There are so many amenities and is most comfortable at a nice cruising speed of 30-35 mph 3500 to 4000 RPMS.



Cruise around the Potomac around the Ft Washington / Old Alexandria area, or take in the sites of the DC Monuments



This boat has been extremely well taken care of and has lots of extras and is very clean. Complete with Depth Finder, GPS, Dual Battery System, charging ports for almost any device and more. The stereo system sounds amazing, complete with Bluetooth. The boat also has a Bimini Top for those times when the sun is too intense. It is up and in place at the time of rental, but you can roll it back for a sporty convertible look at your pleasure. I am a very flexible person and will try to work with you in any way that I can.



Capacity: Fits 7 people total. (6 ADULTS MAX ONLY) Most comfortable with 4-5 adults or 4 adults and 3 kids. Max Weight Capacity is 900lbs.



Captain Option: No Experience? No Problem. We can set you up with a Captain for $55 Per hour to take you out on my boat!



No Captain Option: This boat is not suitable for a group that does not have a responsible driver with moderate prior boating experience. DC waters requires the following: "Anyone operating a vessel on District of Columbia waterways is required to have a Boating Safety Certificate." I will also request that you to let me know what your boating experience is (at least 6 months of experience) so please included that in your initial inquiry as well as your boating Safety Certificate.



Fueling: You will usually receive the boat with a full tank of regular gas and it costs approximately $120 to fill it from empty. You have the choice of returning the boat with a full tank of gas, or I can fill it back up based on estimating the amount of fuel used when you return. The charge is $30 per 1/4 tank of gas, which is also the minimum. You can pay me for the fuel in cash plus a reasonable gratuity fee for refueling, Usually around $30 or more if so inclined, and according to how much gas you used. But $30 is the minimum for the tip.



Even though the boat can easily cruise at 40 to 45 mph, I do not recommend you take it over speeds of 35 to 40, as the waters can be very choppy at times and your passengers will be uncomfortable going over the waves at those speeds. Do not try to show off or see how fast you can go to impress your friends. This boat is extremely safe and has built-in safety features that will pull back if it feels like you’re turning at unsafe speeds. The best cruising speed is 30-35 mph @ 3500 to 4000 Rpms or lower, and your guests will have a most pleasurable experience at that speed. The boat is also complete with US Coast Guard approved life vests, automatic bilge switches in the engine compartment, an extra container of gas, Depth finder, Tilt Steering wheel, charging ports for all devices, both swivel and forward/backward adjustments on the captain’s chair, and the list goes on.



The boat is sanitized and cleaned each time between rentals to make sure everyone is getting a clean and disinfected boat every time. There is no additional charge for this, however if the boat does come back excessively dirty or trash is left behind then there will be a cleaning charge of up to $100.



Food and Drinks: You are welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages. Safety is our highest priority, excessive drinking and rowdiness will not be tolerated. We want everyone to have a good time, responsibly. Don't forget to stay hydrated! BRING WATER. However, please do not bring any red wine or messy food that can stain the carpet and seats. You are responsible for keeping the boat clean and removing all trash.



Boat Traveling Distance: The boat is located on the Virginia side of the Potomac and our main pickup points are Pohick Bay off Route 1 on the Virginia side (small daily parking fee), Fort Washington, MD & Marshall Hall, MD (Totally free parking at both all day}. So you have several options for traveling to different areas. I would prefer the boat not travel too far South of Quantico (unless you really know the waters) or North of Georgetown Waterfront (Past the Scott Key Memorial Bridge)



Please arrive 20 minutes early from your reservation to go over the check-in process. Instructions on where to meet will be provided once your trip has been booked.



Pets are on a case-by-case basis. Please message me with your pet’s weight and breed. Pets must be recently groomed, and nails trimmed. You will be responsible for a cleaning fee up to an extra $50 over the regular cleaning fee if pet hair must be removed from the boat.
