CHARTERER MUST BE 25+ to charter the Smooth Cs



The Smooth C’s is the only U.S. Coast Guard Inspected and certified vessel on Boatsetter in Tampa Bay and is certified for up to 20 passengers. 

USCG Certification means that the vessel is regularly inspected by the Coast Guard to ensure all safety equipment is functional, that the vessel is structurally sound and all systems are working properly, and most importantly that all crew are trained and appropriately licensed. We regularly run safety drills with the Coast Guard.

USCG Certification is required by federal law for any vessel charters carrying more than six passengers for hire. There are many uninspected (in many cases unsafe) vessels operating in our area using a legal loophole (bareboat or demise charters) that transfers the liability to you, the charterer, in order to carry 12 or 13 passengers. 

We are certified, insured and legally capable of carrying up to 20 passengers without exposing you to additional liability by resorting to the questionable interpretation of the law that these less than fully legal vessels use.



As a USCG Inspected Vessel we are held to higher safety regulations than the other vessels on Boatsetter, which is why we are able to accommodate more passengers. Because of this we do have more safety rules and regulations we must follow.



PRICING Our rate includes fuel, bottled water, ice, licensed captain and crew.

CREW GRATUITY IS NOT INCLUDED AND IS CUSTOMARY IN THE INDUSTRY. We recommend 15% of the cruise fare



NO SWIMMING/ISLAND TRIPS  Due to CG safety regulations, jumping/swimming from the yacht is prohibited.



NO SMOKING/NO FLAME  Due to CG Fire regulations, our yacht is NON SMOKING - There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this safety requirement



NO MARIJUANA - We know medical marijuana is legal in Florida, however like all boat charters, we are bound by Federal law and not state law. Unfortunately since medical marijuana is not yet legal under federal law we cannot allow marijuana, or any product which smells like marijuana on board. If you or your guests bring any drugs or marijuana on board, the charter will be terminated immediately with no refund.



FOOD/DRINKS/ALCOHOL You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks. We provide bottled water and ice. Overintoxication & underage drinking are strictly prohibited and will result in termination of the charter.



ADA/ DISABILITIES Due to the design of the vessel we are unable to be ADA compliant. For their safety, the Coast Guard DOES NOT PERMIT SERVICE ANIMALS or pets of any kind on board as we do not have an approved method of rescuing animals in an emergency.

CRUISING AREA From our dock near downtown St Pete (with FREE ON SITE PARKING) We cruise the downtown St Pete area of Tampa Bay. Downtown we can see the beautiful Salvador Dali Museum, the historic Vinoy Hotel, the new St Pete Pier, and the downtown St Pete Skyline. We usually see dolphins around the seawalls of the waterfront neighborhoods nearby. We see the Tampa Skyline to the North and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in the distance to the south. Cruise routes are determined by the captain based upon weather conditions.
