Serenity has a fridge, large bathroom and plenty of room to relax above and below deck.
Please try to bring any food/beverages in a soft cooler or bags.
Please do not bring spray or oil-based sunscreen. Only mineral-based sunscreen please to save the oceans, the fiberglass and the seating materials.
There is a cockpit shower to cool yourself during hotter days.
There is a bathroom next to the marina office. The code is 253 (next 152). While there is a head on the boat, it is not recommended to be used for #2 (for several reasons which I will spare you the details).
Serenity is the perfect size sailboat. Easy to maneuver and big enough to comfortably accommodate up to six passengers for the day, or up to four passengers overnight.
Your captain is USCG captain (OUPV MMC) and a certified sailing instructor (basic keelboat through coastal navigation), so plan to take the helm as much or as little as you’d like.
Coast Guard regulations limit passengers to six maximum.
2-4 hr cruises are typically along the ICW, enjoying a relaxing view of the marshes and mansions of PV.
5-6 hr cruises for ocean or river sailing, or to visit Kinglsey Plantation (option to SUP and drone video).
Learn to sail while going to beautiful St. Augustine or Fernandina Beach. Day sails (w overnight stay) to St Augustine or Fernandina Beach can be booked by reserving two sequential days of 8 hrs each. Each sail leg takes 6-7 hours along the ocean or ICW (depending on the weather and your preferences). Stay aboard overnight or at a nearby hotel. The marinas are a short walk to the downtown area.
Serenity has air conditioning/heat and a fully-equipped kitchen (fridge, propane stove & oven, dual sink, cutting boards, dishes, pots, cutlery).
